The program for WPT television has been announced

A telecast of the sixth season television featuring the episodes of 23 two-hour World Poker Tour was proclaimed by WPT Enterprises and their new partner GSN. The premiere is scheduled for March 24 at 9 PM ET/PT starting off with Mirage Poker Showdown on GSN.

For the new season there are attractions like three new tour stops and new hostess- Miss Layla, and twenty new Poker millionaires. This will enhance the fun for Mondays which will be followed by High Stakes Poker series of cash games of GSN.

Mr. Steve who is the founder and the Chief Executive Officer of WPTE was of the view that he is very happy to be associated with GSN and for WPT. He also added that both GSN and WPT will be extending the poker experience for the fans and spectators across the world. He said that he eagerly awaits the season to start off.

Mr. Jamie who is the Senior Vice President of Programming for GSN said that WPT holds a strong position of being a strong brand on the television and those who love the game of Poker can enjoy it every Monday night. The ever popular cash game High Stakes Poker and WPT can be enjoyed at the television.

Now when GSN has got its new home as WPT, GSN will be engaged in telecasting some of the famous casinos across the globe like Spain, Barcelona, and Canada. The program kicks off two events from Las Vegas and continuing to feature stops at Bellagion in Las Vegas, The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, Foxwoods Casino Resort etc.

They are making a comeback for their sixth season with an experience team of Mr. Mike and Mr. Vince. They are also joined with Miss Layla who is also making their debut for Poker and she will be updating with sidelines and will conduct interviews of the players. Miss Layla has made a prior appearance on G4 and Fox Sports Net. Miss Kimberly is also making her debut at GSN and she will be presenting a descriptive and detailed update of the tournament action.

Other attractions those are provided by WPT on GSN comprise of Mr. Barry and Mr. Little who was also the nominee for the WPT Season VI Player of the Year. They will be contesting against each other at North American Poker Classic, Forxwoods World Poker finals that is scheduled in June, WPT Ladies Night in May, Doyle Brunson Five Diamond Poker Clasic at Bellagion, season ending WPT championship that will be aired on Aug 25, and WPT Celebrity Invitational at Commerce Casino at LA.

The credit goes to WPT for making Poker the most watched sport on the television. It is worth mentioning here that World Poker Tour has shows more than hundred episodes and given away more than three hundred dollars as cash prizes. They are credited with eighty WPT Poker millionaires. Mr. Steve and Mr. Joseph are the executive producers of WPT (World Poker Tour) and Mr. Robyn is the Executive Vice President of WPT Studios.
