Mr. William who is a delegate of Pawtucket Democratic in order to make changes in the stressed out economy of Rhode Island projected a brand new bill according to which the casino halls can stay open around the clock in Rhode Island. If this bill gets the confirmation then it will only affect the economy in a positive sense. According to his plan the revenue of the Rhode Island needs to be raised by more than twenty million dollars on a yearly basis. Making effective use of the casino which is also the main source of the income in Rhode Island is the best way to accomplish the goal.

According to the plan more slot machines will be installed for further enhancing the revenue of the Rhode Island. This plan has also started facing some opposition and some of the casinos have also planned to increase the operating timings. Particularly on Saturdays and Sundays they are operating around the clock and till three in the morning during the week time. This will mean that the revenue will increase by around twenty million dollars. From that amount four percent will be used by the town of Lincoln. Mr. River who is the spokesperson of Twin River said that the plan is not yet finalized.

Newport Grand which is also one of the biggest casinos in Rhode Island is also planning to make bigger development. According to Council of Newport they gave a statement that they support the legislation of Mr. Jackson. McLaughlin who is a Councilor said that if the development of the casinos continues further then they might need license for serving liquor around the clock and if the casinos are not following the rules and regulations then Newport Council could reject it.

Most of the executives of the state and the common people wanted to improve the condition of the income of the state by the means of introducing and allowing gambling around the clock. The plan has not yet been passed and it has already started facing opposition as some people think that this will do more damage than good. The casinos those are ready to open around the clock have promised the common people that proper care will be taken regarding the security aspects and they will employ extra staff. They said that this move will increase the employment opportunities for the local people.
