Blackjack Odds – An Interesting Casino Game

Blackjack is type of card game and is an interesting game. Generally 1-8 players can play this game. The points are calculated from 2-10 as per the face value on the card.

Point on the cards
Aces have the point about 1 and also 11. It is the card having highest value unlike any other card worth 10 points. It is also called as semi wild card. The maximum hand in it is ace along with any card worth 10-point is known as blackjack.

Who wins?
The winner in blackjack has to pays in a ratio of 3: 2. The bet is forward if the dealer and any of the two players have blackjack. Keeping blackjack at a side the winner pays money evenly. The player who has maximum points not over 21 other than the dealer in his hand is the winner. The hand with 21-point is the maximum and that is the reason why sometimes the game is called 21.

What do you mean by ‘Break’ or ‘bust’ in the game?
If the dealer or any of the players has a hand more than 21 then it is known as bust or break. The busted hand loses. If player and dealer bust together then the player is the loser and then he has house benefit.

What are Odds?
Getting good odds is completely dependent on the player’s skill and rules of the game. If the player uses right basic tactic then a single hit game by Las Vegas Strip regulations and then by splitting the double can truly give a benefit of 0.1% to the player. Theoretically blackjack can present the player good odds in house.

The player must remember that he should not ever take hit on either 20 or 21, as 21 wins because it is a blackjack. A game with 8 decks is the worst game with the points double on 10 and 11; the dealer can hit 17 without splitting.
