Mr. Falton who is Irish jockey has been made free from the allegations of charges of race fixing. As there was not enough evidence Judge Sir Thayne closed the case. With this a three year old investigation into the business of the star jockey and Mr. Miles who is a gambler and other jockeys Mr. Fergal and Mr. Darren done by London Police at the cost of six million pounds has come to an end.

A total of six men were involved in planning for stopping twenty seven horses from winning from 2002 to 2004. Before the charges get confirmed all the six men were granted bail. Mr. Falton said that no doubt that he was very pleased with the decision but he was also annoyed as he said that from the start there was not enough proof that can prove him guilty.

According to the statement issued by British Horseracing Authority Mr. Fallon, Mr. Darren, and Mr. Fergal can now participate for the horse races. After his arrest he was suspended for a time period of seventeen months. Mr. Ray who is an Australian steward and was the chief eyewitness of the prosecution believed in the fact that from the total of seventy-seven races about thirteen races were preset. He added that he had no idea about the rules and regulations of the British horse racing. Judge Thayne was of the view that the proof those were presented against Mr. Ray were not enough for proving the violation of the racing guidelines of Britain. But Burton was of view that he would be making a statement for Independent Police Complaint’s Commission. The city police took over the charge for making an investigation in the case and earlier two other police teams were engaged by British Horseracing Authority.

Mr. Ian demanded a critical evaluation for the function of Crown Prosecution Service that was used in the case. It is also added that a clarification was also requested for the intervention of Mr. Ken in the case who is the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Mr. Paul who is a spokesperson of British Horseracing Authority commented that the whole situation in which the inquiry was done and then continued, according to them to an exploitation of the function of the inquiry and the trial power.
