Card Counting in Blackjack is not a new policy followed by gamblers today. In fact this is in the arena for long. At present card counting is followed by many persons. But one needs to do it securely as many casinos don’t welcome card counters if they are found doing it. In Blackjack the aces and tens are regarded a high cards. One who has a greater concentration of these high cards gains high number of odds. The more odds the player (card counter) attains the lesser the chances of his falling into the hands of the dealer.
Through more and more card counting the player makes the appropriate moves and increases their bets. Thus by probability he calculates in his mind, the outcome of his rivals moves and challenges him. Thus, the card counter ultimately emerges as the winner.

Advanced techniques
Today there are various new techniques of card counting. The plus minus counting is nowadays practiced by the players. In this type of counting every card is assigned some values. Some with positive and some are assigned with negative values. The aces and tens have a value of -1 in Blackjack. Cards of zero value like 7, 8 etc are not taken into consideration. Players consider the running total obtained by the values assigned to each card. This is known as running count. Players decide their fate by such a type of counting.

There are also some other advanced techniques like single and multi level counting and more. Players who practice the art of card counting are found to gain more advantage of winning Blackjack.

Major requirements to master card counting
Card counting is impossible to learn by a mere one or more visit to a casino. Especially in today’s casinos where card counting is not allowed this art is almost impossible to learn. But one can master it by his urge to learn, effective and rigorous practices. Players new to this tactic must furnish the basic skills in their mind.
